A couple weeks ago we received our Jonathan Adler Spring catalog in the mail and let me just say, there may or may not have been some drool stains on it by the time we got to the end. Goody for us AND for you, that JA is having a mega Memorial Day Sale (including current markdowns!) so all those super fab finds we fell in love with are now 20% off. Now, we know that JA is the opposite of a bargain. But his innovative and creative designs are worth the price. Here are some of our favorites: Vapor Printed Pillows--Inspired by Art Deco airbrushing, these velvet pillows are made for mixing and matching. Kiki Cabinet--Usher in a new era of chic storage with this brass and lacquer cabinet. Topped with ivory painted glass and featuring velvet lined adjustable shelves to store all of your treasures. Torino Vases--Classic shapes and moody colors, these vases make a statement whether they stand alone, hold your favorite stems or clustered together in a display. Create an instant mantle display with three of our favorite JA pieces. Pompidou Vase--sexy curves in bold colors Ripple Lacquer Boxes--stacked for maximum impact Pompidou Acrylic Candle Holder--definitely not your mother's candelabra Riviera Tuffet--For those hundreds of times you need an extra seat at the table, this rattan stool is cushioned with a plushy mushroom boucle. Paradox Vases--clean, white and anything but boring these ceramic vases add just the right element of texture and shape to your mantle or bookshelf. Miami Pendant--This hip brass cage pendant nods back to the Art Deco architecture of Miami Beach with its muted colored squares. Prisma Table Lamp--This crackle acrylic lamp makes a bold statement with its saturation of color and super sized pyramid shape. The desk chair, is pretty bad ass too.
I mean, we could go on. But part of the fun with so much amazing merchandise is discovering what's just on the next page. Memorial Day promotion runs May 24-31. Use code SUMMER for 20% off sitewide. Sometimes Fall + Wreath = A Hot Mess. Which is why we like the simplicity and elegance of this door wreath. It doesn't have to be ALL pumpkins. 7. Brushed Gold Planter with Stand. They may be meant to be used for rice, but we can think of a dozen uses for these brightly colored bowls. Soapdish, trinket dish, serving dips or olives. Painted Square Hooks Set. Raise your hand if you've ever walked down a hall or opened a door or stepped in to a closet and thought, "Gee, I could sure use a hook there." 13. Evil Eye Coir Doormat. Not that we are superstitious or anything, but I mean, it couldn't hurt to ward off any evil from entering your home. Right?

Quentin Dining Chair Sale ends Monday. Happy Shopping! This post contains affiliate links. Can you believe it's already time to start thinking about Back to School? If you have a new college kid, know that even with our cool closet hacks, all of their stuff will not fit in the closet. Or in the drawers. If they are anything like my kid, half the stuff they take to school they will never wear but good luck convincing them not to take all 37 pairs of shoes. We've put together some of our favorite dorm room hacks as well as dorm essentials that will make your student's life a bit easier, and maybe even more organized. Dorm Room EssentialsModular, stackable drawers can be configured in multiple ways and are easier to move in and out than one big unit. When roomie keeps the lights on until the wee hours, a sleep mask with earplugs will be a lifesaver. There are a thousand laundry hampers out there but we've found that one that can both store AND transport laundry is the most convenient. Speaking of too many shoes, this over the door shoe storage bag holds more shoes than any we've found. And it's way better than the pocket style in accommodating larger shoes. Shower totes are also a dime a dozen but the multiple compartments and nylon mesh construction make this our fave. Lastly, slim flocked hangers will allow for maximum capacity in your closet. Dorm Room HacksBeds that can be popped up on risers give you an amazing amount of storage underneath. To keep things looking neat, install a tension bar between the legs of the bed frame and hang short cafe curtains to cover up the storage bins, chest of drawers or fridge. Decorating the walls can be tricky without the use of nails. Command strips will be your best friend, regardless of what you hang, but you can have some fun with these ideas. Hanging a tapestry not only covers a large portion of ugly dorm room walls it can also be hung behind the bed as a mock headboard. Fancy string light photo holders like this one can be pricey. DIY your own with a strand of indoor lights and binder clips or mini clothes pins. Paint with metallic spray paint and you have the same idea for half the price. If you haven't heard of Washi Tape, don't feel bad. I hadn't either. Super dorm wall friendly, it sticks and peels easily and comes in a thousand colors and patterns. Use to frame photos, posters or create your very own art installation. Did I mention that the closets are small? This little double hanging rod gadget saved our lives and meant that I didn't have to take half of my daughter's clothes back home with me. So, good luck with move-in. Congrats on your little bird leaving the nest. It's amazing to watch them fly.
