Because Therapy's Expensive
Last summer I met Erin and Gary at their home in Fort Worth. They had lived in their custom built home for twenty years and were ready for an update. One space I was excited to tackle was the kitchen. It's positioned in the center of the house, with views of the den and living room. One thing I loved about it was its location. It had the potential to be a real showstopper.
Here's what the kitchen looked like before.
See that step up? I thought, hmm, what if we tiled it? And the cabinets were in good condition. They just needed a facelift. And there were no pendant lights, so we definitely would fix that. The rest was a no-brainer. New floors, new backsplash, remove the wallpaper, new counter tops, add hardware.
After Erin & Gary reviewed the plan and approved it, it was go time!
Here's the kitchen now.
I love how this kitchen renovation turned out. The space is light and clean and invites you in to stay a while. I'm sure Erin and Gary are going to enjoy their new space for years to come.
