Dot Painting Tutorial

A while ago I searched for a small print painting to go with my super busy wallpaper and found one that cost over $700. For dots. Painted on a canvas. I didn't understand why it would be so expensive to own a print or a painting that was literally DOTS. So I went to my crafts store and purchased canvases, paint, and a paint brush, and made my own version of dot art. Since I posted it on my Instagram page I've had lots of inquiries and requests for a tutorial. Apparently I'm now some kind of dot painting genius, which is exactly what my parents had in mind for me when they brought me home from the hospital nearly 48 years ago.
